What is it?

I will give you personalized feedback on your email writing.

You’ll simply send me the link to a Google Doc with your email(s). I will review it with an experienced email copywriter’s eye. And give you feedback.

This includes pointing out where your writing is strong. And areas for improvement.

I don’t sugar-coat things… because clear feedback is going to serve you better.

Who’s this for?

  • Small business owners who write email to their customers or clients

  • Freelance copywriters who write email for clients

  • Anyone who wants to upskill with email copywriting

You’ll get…

  • Feedback on up to 3 marketing-related emails. Up to 1000 words each! For things like newsletters, sales emails, autoresponders, and cold outreach emails.

  • I’ll review each email, including the sender name, email address, subject line and body. (Yes, sender matters. So if you include it, I’ll review it).

  • I’ll consider the context. So if you provide brief info on the market it was written for and the purpose of the email… I’ll use this to inform my feedback. (This is optional, so you can leave context out if you want.)

  • You will get the feedback as a video. I’ll provide a link. And you have up to 30 days to download it.

  • Turn around time is 7 days (or less) from when you send me your Google Doc link after you place your order.

  • You may send ONE email to ask for any clarifications (if needed). I must get this within 7 days of sending feedback to you.

You won’t get…

  • Me clicking ANY of the email links. The feedback stops at what’s in the one document you provide.

  • Detailed grammar analysis. You’ll get me pointing out grammar things I think matter. (Not all do… and I’m a grammar rulebreaker when need be.)

  • In-depth industry-related comments. I’ll use what I can from the context you provide. But can’t be an expert in every area, sorry! 😁

What I expect from you…

  • You are a native-level English speaker. I’m here to help you structure your emails well. And apply good copywriting techniques. I’m not a language tutor.

  • You’ll first get your email(s) into the best shape you can by yourself. In other words… don’t be lazy or feel like you’re making progress by spending money… when you should be spending your own energy on getting better! (Told you I share “tough love!”)

  • You’ll provide a link to your email(s) in a Google Doc. (NO Word documents or other formats, thanks!). The email I send you after you have ordered, has all the details about this.

  • Have the emails you want feedback on ready to go before ordering. Because you need to send me your Google Doc link straight away.

Bonus — but optional…

At the end of your Google Doc file… you can ask up to 3 of your own burning questions about email marketing or email copywriting.

I’ll include my answers in the video. I will guarantee they’ll be 100% my take on things. 😁

Nowhere else do I give replies like this on video. (Aren’t you lucky?)

Sure… you need to be confident you’ll get valuable feedback, right?

If you’re on my email list, you’ll probably have a good feel for my capabilities as an email marketer and copywriter. And if you’ve been there from the start will have received hundreds and hundreds of daily emails from me.

I’ve got various copywriting certifications from AWAI. And email marketing ones from industry players, like Klaviyo and Hubspot. But these don’t make that much difference without real-world experience.

Speaking of which, I’ve worked with customers in various industries writing autoresponder and campaign emails. I still do client work in the ecommerce space. And have also written cold outreach emails for collaborations and lead generation.
