“Wait… you’re charging what for a PDF file about creating emails?”

“I suppose you’ll tell me it’s packed with $1997 worth of value. So it’s a steal at this price.”

Boy Are We
Cynical Today
Or What?

Fair enough though.

I’d be cynical too about a $165 PDF file.

Surely it can’t offer that much value?

I’d want to know what’s inside. And whether it’s going to pay for itself.

Which is exactly why I’ve written this page.

I’m convinced the person who most needs this PDF file will come to see the bargain it is.

That when they apply what’s inside it to their emails they’ll be delighted with the

Astounding
Return On
Investment!

(Potentially much, MUCH more than $1997.)

Of course…

I am unquestioningly and irredeemably biased about this… seeing that every word on this page is for selling the PDF in question 😅

But I’ve also seen the unbelievable effects of applying what’s inside to my own email list.

Now, I don’t want to waste your time if this is not right for you.

It’s going to be of little use if you’re not on the same wavelength to me when it comes to email strategy.

If the “quick money” game is your thing then this PDF is probably going to annoy the hell out of you.

Because I’m committed to

Playing The
Long Game.

This means building a list of loyal customers who are entertained by my emails. And love buying what I recommend.

I’m happy to forsake impulse purchases by new subscribers, if it means higher customer lifetime value.

But many business owners are driven to make sales quickly.

Plus they don’t email much at all.

Meaning there’s a lot riding on every email.

So the urge to turn up the pressure on their subscribers becomes overwhelming.

But the upshot of playing the long game and building a loyal base of customers is you can relax into

Gentle Selling.

But I won’t sugarcoat it…

There is a cost.

Which is:

Creating emails from your own mind.

(Not from the “mind” of an AI or a ghostwriter or a template creator.)

Quite simply…

Nothing else captures the nuance (and fun) of the stories you need to be sharing with your subscribers so they get to know you as a person.

And:

Knowing You Better
Forms The
Bedrock Of Trust.

If your subscribers don’t trust you, they won’t buy from you. (There’s no escaping this law of business.)

So this PDF is going to irk anyone who insists on using AI to write their emails.

Using AI is an exercise in futility.

But if you want to create authentic human-to-human emails, let me introduce…

The
Inbox Champion
Playbook

(Me and my partner in email crime, Nellie)

The Playbook is the backstage pass to my email list.

With it you’ll be ushered in to discover the behind-the-scenes rules for creating sales emails that nurture your subscribers into loyal customers.

Applying these rules

Makes Creating Entertaining Sales Emails
Easier And Actually Profitable!

Even though we’re playing the long game, with the Playbook it doesn’t have to be THAT long before sales start pouring in.

Using the Playbook Rules can slash the time it takes to see results.

So you too will squeal with delight when sales notifications stack up in your inbox like this…

(I don’t think I’ll ever get over the thrill of opening my inbox in the morning to see this.)

Even if sales aren’t flowing in for you just yet…

You know you’re on the right track when you get subscriber fan mail. (Which is often unexpected and unprompted.)

Like this…

“I honestly like how off-the-wall many of your emails are. Never knowing what, exactly, to expect when I open yours is a fun treat.”

Shelby Dennis

“When I open my email, I look for your name. And when I open one of your emails I read from the first word to the last.”

Replies from subscribers are a sign your emails are connecting with them, and the trust is growing.

If you’ve not seen my website home page with the full “why I’m worth listening to” story…

Here’s the abridged version:

I’ve been creating daily emails for 3 years. Made a lot of mistakes. Learned a lot.

Now I share my experience in my emails… and in products like this Playbook.

My subscribers say things like this about my emails…

Even respected storytelling teacher and A-list copywriter, Lorrie Morgan, gives the thumbs up for my email stories…

But enough about me, because…

There’s so much packed into this 38-page PDF that we’d better get cracking talking about why I created it. (And what you’ll find inside.)

It took me the better part of two years to figure out what actually works for sales emails.

There was a LOT of trial and error. Plenty of mindset challenges. And far too many times to count when I thought I sent the best email ever…

Only for it to bring in zero sales. (Returning bucketloads of self-doubt instead.)

Things did get better. But only after spending more time and expense than I needed to.

I Don’t Want You
To Get Stuck On
The Slow Road
Like I Did

especially when there’s a more direct route.

Hindsight has shown me how much FASTER I could have progressed if I’d learned certain lessons much sooner.

I’ve condensed these down into the Rules of the Playbook.

They are the principles that guide the sales emails I send every day.

With the Playbook in your hands you can

Slash The Time
It Takes To
See Results

Flicking through it you’ll discover…

  • The almost foolproof way to build trust with your subscribers (Rule #6)

  • The number one question to ask, that MUST get a “yes” before clicking send (Rule #41)

  • A truly “no-brainer” way to slash the time it takes to create your email (that’s almost always overlooked)

  • A quirky shift that doesn’t force you to make the kind of compromises that shatter long-term customer relationships

  • The “forgotten ingredient” that virtually superglues your emails onto subscriber brains so they can’t get your email off their minds (Rule #12)

  • The “safety net” to help you to make much faster progress. Even surpassing those who’ve been doing it for years (Rule #2)

  • Why you can forget about the fear of annoying them with too many emails (Rule #7). Your subscribers will be itching to hear from you… and buy!

  • THE law of sales that mustn’t be broken unless you want to risk sending your email straight to the spam folder (Rule #68)

  • The “jellybean rule” for creating engaging emails that also makes creating emails something you excitedly look forward to, instead of a slog you dread! (Rule #11)

  • How to safely use AI to speed up creating your emails without getting stuck in an ethical quagmire or losing your brand voice (Rule #57)

  • How disobeying the “one rule to rule them all” nukes your email sales (Rule #14). Ignore this at your own peril.

  • How to flip on your brain’s optimal setting at will to churn out top-notch sales emails your subscribers love. And no, it’s not “get more sleep” or “eat well” — although those are damn good ideas too! (Rule #36)

  • Revealed: The “Big Lie” of email metrics. (Rule #52)

  • The counterintuitive reason why I give you a Playbook full of tactics for creating emails, then warn you to watch out for the “Tactics Trap” (Rule #38)

  • The authenticity hack that builds deeper relationships with your subscribers than you can possibly get with AI (Rule #9)

  • A (weird) question you can ask to check if you’ve found the sweet spot of email length (Rule #40)

  • How to use the “podcast trick” to gain your subscribers’ undivided attention (Rule #10)

  • Learn the simple way to get your legal ducks in a row. So you aren’t flagged as a dodgy spammer. Or worse: land in legal hot water! (Rule #62)

  • The probably surprising way to take the pressure right off when you’re applying these Playbook Rules (Rule #1)

And you’d better believe there’s plenty more.

97 rules to be precise!

The whole Playbook is designed to be easy and quick to use.

In fact…

You Can Read
It Cover To Cover
In Under One Hour.

That’s no exaggeration.

If you thumbed through the Playbook, I reckon you’d agree it’s a quick and smooth read. And would be easy to dip back into any time you needed a refresher.

Actually…

How about we take a quick peek together right now? …

Each Playbook Rule is like a mini lesson you can read quickly. Then apply to your very next email.

The Playbook will help you move toward the effortless stage of creating emails. Where you have the know-how so they consistently land well with your subscribers.

In my opinion…

The Best Way
For Emails To Land Well
Is To Tell Stories.

They’re a tremendous way to build strong relationships with your subscribers.

At first I freaked out at the prospect of sharing stories. (I didn’t think I had a storytelling bone in my body!)

But seeing other email marketers do it gave me the confidence I needed to have a go.

So I fumbled and bumbled my way.

As I plugged away email after email… and followed some simple rules (which I’ve now assembled into the Playbook)… I got so much better at email storytelling.

You can become a confident email storyteller too, because the Playbook lays

The Foundation
For Creating
Fun, Story-Based Emails.

I love how once these rules get into your bones, it becomes so much easier to quickly churn out an email…

…so much more attuned to your audience and your own voice than AI can ever match. (Readers feel this too.)

With a little nudge from Rules #77 to #80…

You can know EXACTLY what to say. (No more staring at a blank screen.)

Perhaps, like Niky, you’ll also realise there’s a simpler way to create effective emails:

“I am so pleased to see Rule 32 – It made me realise how much I actually dislike the newsletter format that seems to be becoming more and more frequent, I find them confusing and long and annoying. Maybe I should send them all a link to this Rule… 😂

Niky Egerton
Leadership with Niky

I tell you what…

There’s nothing quite like making sales from simple emails you had a blast creating yourself!

That’s exactly what the Playbook set Patricia up for. She says…

(Heh… that cover she mentions is not the one we have now… which she LOVES!)

I truly believe applying the Playbook Rules will help you take massive strides with your email marketing too.

But I don’t want anyone to be under any illusions.

Because, quite frankly…

The Playbook
Isn’t For Everyone.

If you’d rather take shortcuts and have AI write your emails. Or use Mad Libs-style templates…

The Playbook is definitely NOT FOR YOU.

If you’re NOT willing to APPLY what you learn from the Playbook, it will be of little value.

If you think sales emails need to be like a formal letter, and rules of proper grammar need to be stuck to at all times…

Some of the rules will frustrate you no end. (As will my emails.)

One Playbook owner said this about a grammar-related Rule:

“I’ve just read Rule 30, and I can’t totally agree with it... Probably a lot of people wouldn’t even notice those things, but those who do are bothered by them – maybe not to the extent of unsubscribing, but it might lower your credibility with them.”

(As you can see, not all the feedback I get about the Playbook is dripping with praise.)

But this disagreement doesn’t change the fact that my experience in the email trenches has shown me firsthand that following these Rules is a path to one thing:

Quicker
Sales
Results

That’s why the Playbook makes clear that sticking hard-and-fast to grammar rules can hamstring the entertainment factor of your emails. This directly impacts subscriber engagement. (And ultimately slams the brakes on sales.)

I suggest anyone reading the Playbook to take the 97 rules as their starting point.

As you grow more confident, adjust how you apply them based on your own experience. So they even better suit your needs and those of the subscribers you serve.

At this point…

If you’re feeling energised by what the Playbook offers for building a list of highly-engaged subscribers…

Let me tell you about what you get when you order…

  • The 97 battle-tested rules for creating effective sales emails that your subscribers love to read and buy from

  • The Rules Quick-Reference sheet, with every single rule on one page for quick refreshers

  • Cross-references highlighted so you can easily see how the rules support each other

  • Key points bolded inside every Rule, designed for effortless skimming and rapid reading

  • A compact 38-page PDF that’s handy for printing out and keeping right next to your keyboard

  • Free updates, ensuring you always have the latest version on hand

It’s not a stretch to say…

The price of the Playbook itself could even be covered many, MANY times over by consistently applying its Rules.

And what a flippen great relief it’s NOT another $997 course that takes a million hours to get through. 😅

Quite the opposite.

You can literally pick it up. Read one Rule. Then…

Q&A

Do I have to send daily emails like you?

Nope. The Playbook is for anyone wanting to create entertaining emails to build the relationships with their subscribers.

Sending plenty of emails to your subscribers is certainly a good idea. But you can pick how often suits you. (I recommend no less than 3 per week.)

Will my emails sound just like yours?

Nope. You have a different audience. Sharing your own stories, experiences, values and so on.

Even if you pick an idea from one of the emails I send, you’ll put your own slant on it. And you’ll be creating your email from scratch so you’ll come up with something that’s uniquely you.

How long will it take me to create each email?

That’s a question to which I can only reply: it depends. There are so many variables involved.

One thing I can assure you:

You will get MUCH faster the more you create emails and apply the Playbook Rules.

In my case I went from 2-4 hours per email when I started to about 1 hour on average now.

I still choose to take that long because even though I can slam emails out in 10 minutes if I want… I invest more time in my storytelling.

(Plus I’m a little anal about reading over my emails quite a few times before sending.)

If you have a sharper mind than me…

There’s no reason you couldn’t create them much quicker than I do. 😀

How is the Playbook delivered?

By carrier pigeon, of course.

Or if you want a serious answer: by email. With a link to the file.

Which also means if I make updates, you get instant access to them.

And you can copy the file to whatever devices you own for your own convenient reading (so long as you don’t share it with anyone else.)

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Not for this low-priced offer.

If you’re not 100% sure this is right for you, don’t buy it.

Keep reading and learning from my daily emails until you’re sure.

Why do you hate AI so much?

Haven’t you seen The Terminator or The Matrix?

Seriously though, I don’t hate AI.

I’ve just come to believe that it’s not suitable for creating the kind of personality-based emails I want to send to my subscribers.

Simply because it doesn’t have my experiences. And sharing them directly from my own brain is more authentic. And produces better storytelling.

Plus I get to insert whatever quirky comments spring to mind as I go. 😁

If you have a question about the Playbook, feel free to email me at chris@chrismilham.com.

Last thing…

I love sharing what works for me, but your results depend entirely on your list, your offers, and your willingness to actually do the work.

I don’t make earnings guarantees, and the examples above represent my own experience and that of dedicated students.

My advice:

Stick To The Rules,
Play the Long Game,
And Use Your Brain ☺️
