There once was a freelancer, you see,
Whose deadlines were never quite key.
They’d start with a yawn,
Then the whole day was gone,
Procrastination’s their true mastery!
Yeah…
Chet Gepeetee may have had a hand in that.
Sometimes he comes up with the goods. I don’t think that one’s too bad.
Better than I’d do first try, anyway.
So…
With the last line of that limerick ringing in the air…
Ask yourself:
What’s one thing that’s been on your “todo” list TOO long… but needs doing NOW to move your business forwards?
If thinking about it causes anxiety to well up… maybe it needs breaking into smaller steps.
Carving up the big, scary beast into smaller chunks could be the thing you tick off this week…
Then steadily work through it in manageable, 1-2 hour chunks.
My one thing for this week is finishing this wee ebook I’ve been pushing aside.
My goodness it’s been toying with me
And it’s a big thing I can’t knock off in one sitting.
So I’ve broken it down.
The next 7 days are designated: “edit one chapter a day” week.
That’s the plan. And after yesterday’s email about accountability…
I can hardly slack off… now that everyone is watching.
See you tomorrow!
P.S. I can help you gain clarity and get unstuck in your freelancing business.
My introductory price of $50 for 50-minutes of coaching is ending on 29th Feb.
Lock in this price for future calls if you contact me before the end of Feb.
