Why oh why did I ever say I’d write an ebook?
And what the heck was I thinking telling my email list about it?
All seemed like a good idea at the time.
Now I’ve got no wiggle-room.
It ain’t going to look good if I don’t get it done.
But if I DO get it done… it better have been worth doing… and worth someone reading.
I ain’t no book author. I’m an email guy.
Emails are short. And people (usually) forget if you say dumb things… or show you’re ~~grandma~~ grammar and speling isn’t up to snuff.
But an ebook!

Maybe if I call this “Version 0.1 BETA” then people might be more forgiving?
Or, here’s an idea…
Maybe I just don’t write it like people expect it to be written. Then they’ll have nothing to judge it against.
Hmmm… might be a plan there, Chris. 🤔
Scatter words on the pages like a crazed eccentric daily-email writer.
(A normal day at the office then.)
They’ll discover it’s a literary Jackson Pollock.
Could be some kudos in that.
Or I could swing to the hifalutin end of things.
They’ll be thankful to clutch it it in their desperate hands… hoping the aura of the genius within will rub off.
(Never mind it being so esoteric… even the author can’t fully grasp its convoluted masterfulness.)
Again… could be a goer.
Seems I have some thinking to do. Although I find that rather tiring.
So might just grab some coinage.
Maybe see what the coin-toss decides?
Or I could shut up about this whole ebook thing.
They’ll get on with their lives… forgetting the idea was ever spoken.
Then it can be left to simply whisp away into the ether.
Decisions. Decisions.
Time to sleep on it.
