Delays ain’t a problem for low stress email marketing…

I can be a bit erratic at times… but being a business owner is slowly helping me deal with that. šŸ˜„

The last few days of email have been more erratic than usual… with some emails not arriving at the usual earlny morning EST time.

Yet it’s not the end of the world for my business.

Here’s the story…

The last few days I’ve been playing catch-up. So this email is technically yesterday’s email. Which means I have another one to write after this one.

So they will be a bit closer together than usual.

Anyone who likes reading my email as part of their morning routine (and there’s one or two)… will have to cope (Sorry! 😁)

But because my emails list is built on relationships… they know I won’t abandon them for long.

And… how’s this for email marketing mind blowing…

Me NOT being in their inbox is a curiosity-raiser…

“Why’s Chris’s email not there?”

So maybe even they’ll be on the lookout for it. And even MORE keen to see what’s inside.

Now… this is just me having a guess… but it could be something that makes this missing email not such a bad thing.

Plus… it’s really not a problem when you’re emailing every day like I am. Because I’m showing up regularly. And a “glitch” isn’t such a big deal in the scheme of things.

And the reason for this week’s more erratic emails is because of good things going on my world…

The first being that I got the painting in my laundry and toilet done.

Might not sound like a big deal… but that was a half-finished job that had dragged on TOO long. (And now I’m back in my wife’s good books 😊).

Doing this meant I was a bit more exhausted than. Old-man-itis playing up. So brain was a bit fried for email writing at times.

But that wasn’t the big thing this week. You see…

All my three girls are coming home. 😊

My oldest from being in the UK for a year.

The other two went to meet her half-way-ish in Hong Kong. Where they’ve all been for the past 10 days.

And I’m sitting here in the airport arrivals area… frantically typing this email in the 15-or-so minutes before they walk through the gates.

So email writing today has been straightforward. And I’ve not had to go fishing in my giant stash of ideas. I can simply write about what’s going on my life. And share tie-ins with email marketing.
