One thing I’ve found that really starts to get me down is…
Comparing myself to others.
I’m picking you’ve probably experienced that at times too.
I mean…
It’s so easy to look at other peoples’ success and wonder… “why not me?”
Why aren’t the clients banging on my door like they are for them?
Why aren’t I only working 3 hours a day… and raking in the cash?
Why? … Why? … Why?
Of course there’s perfectly sensible answers to those questions.
Often it’s because I’m hoping success will simply fall in my lap.
I’m expecting mastering skills to magically happen after doing one or two courses…
And then gold coins start raining from the sky.
Reality is…
I’m still on my way to my own money goals.
But I CAN say with confidence…
I’m succeeding ALREADY… because I’m moving in the DIRECTION of my goals
Even though it feels glacially slow at times.
I just slap my own face (hard!) to remind myself…
Everyone is in different circumstances… so comparison is pretty pointless.
Plus, making comparisons is a gigantic energy sucker. And because that commodity is in limited supply…
I’ll stick to only comparing two people…
Me yesterday … and … me today!
And I’ll simply be asking…
Have I nudged forward a little more towards my goals?
Yes?
Well… I’m succeeding!
