“It’s the deep breath before the plunge.”

Pippin stares intently into the night.

In the distance, molten rock flung upward from Mount Doom illuminates the darkened skies.

Something is stirring in the land of Mordor.

He turns his gaze upward. Expecting to find stars. But they are strangely absent.

As he rests his crossed arms on the edge of the stone balcony, he says to his companion:

“It’s so quiet.”

An expressionless Gandalf matter-of-factly replies:

“It’s the deep breath before the plunge.”

“I don’t want to be in a battle.” Pippin says, eyes transfixed on the faraway menace.

“But waiting on the edge of one I can’t escape is even worse.”

Like young Peregrin Took, unsure of what lay ahead, this email is my deep breath before the plunge.

Not because I’m a wooly-footed hobbit preparing for inevitable war.

But because I can’t be certain about how the next few emails will pan out.

Reason being…

The next email I send begins the launch period for my new audio coaching subscription.

You may remember me announcing this back at the beginning of October.

It’s long been under construction.

Now soon to be revealed.

I’m EXCITED for this. Because it’s an offer many of my subscribers can benefit from.

Especially if they like my emails and the value they offer. But they’re wanting more.

This provides a way to build email marketing skills step-by-step. Without breaking the bank.

And to build a weekly habit that can help boost confidence. In a relaxed way.

I’ve never done anything like this before.

But stepping out into this unknown has a strange thrill to it.

Like taking that first step over the boundary of The Shire. Unaware of what adventures await beyond.

And don’t go all “Fool of a Took!” on me and try gazing into things that aren’t meant for young hobbit eyes.

Not yet, at least.

Patience… for details are coming in the very next email.

After all… this is the deep breath.

And as we wait in this quiet moment with bated breath…

Why not reply and let me know:

What’s holding you back from taking the plunge into growing your own email list?
