You don’t have to

One of the best things about having a business is the freedom to prioritize my days.

I can plan to do things with my family and not be chained to a desk.

And on days like this, when I’m feeling all a bit tired from launches and other life stuff, I can prioritize rest.

With a business you can use your freedom to do what you want to.

You also don’t have to do anything!

When it comes to email marketing…

Sometimes I get twinges saying, “Chris, you don’t have to write your email today.”

And you know what? That’s right… I don’t have to.

No one’s forcing me to. It’s not going to forever destroy the relationship with my audience if if I skip ONE day.

There’s no one looking over my shoulder, ready to fire me if I don’t do it.

Another thing you don’t have to do is a Black Friday sale.

I know it’s that time of the year. And it looks like EVERYONE is doing it. And there’s FOMO in the air.

But there’s no Black Friday police watching.

So if it doesn’t suit you. It doesn’t suit you. No need to force it.

Sure, there could be extra sales made.

But your business isn’t just about sales. It also covers caring for your customers. And caring for yourself.

I’m not doing a Black Friday sale this year.

In fact, I’ve got a busy week with ecommerce client work for Black Friday. So keeping it simple on my email list suits me right now.

And that certainly makes for lower stress on. Which I like. 😁
