Pure bliss from one keyboard shortcut

Time is always against us.

Finding it can be as rare as hens teeth.

Here’s how one small thing saved me SOOO much time…

I remember starting out using Microsoft Excel many moons ago.

And it was cool having this spreadsheet with nicely ordered columns. And being able to fiddle around with formatting and whatnot.

Using formulas was delightful.

Even “=SUM(A2:A27)” was enough to save me a LOT of tapping away on a calculator.

But one of the biggest timesavers I still use and love to this day is:

Ctrl + D

Select a cell with a formula in it. Drag the selection down as far as you want. Then hit Ctrl + D.

WHAMMO!

It fills down with the formula.

AND it’s smart enough to update the cells the formula refers to.

So everything calculates as you expect.

What a relief to no longer need the monotonous…

Down arrow. Paste.
Down arrow. Paste.
Down arrow. Paste.
Down arrow. Paste.
Down arrow. Paste.
Down arrow. Paste.

Might seem a no-brainer nowadays.

But for me then… it was pure bliss!

Once again, I’m excited to discover another way to save a bunch of time.

It’s when I’m creating new products for my business. So they can be bought through a shopping cart page.

It’s been especially great for things like my email marketing guides.

Where I don’t want to spend hours and hours getting things set up, for a low-ticket item.

I love that in a few short minutes I can copy an existing product. Make a few changes. And I’m good to go.
