Oh how I wish for the fame and glory of guru status…
Then I could pontificate all day long about things I don’t really have a clue about… while raking in the cash 🤑
Reality though?
I’m a freelance copywriter and solo business owner. Working with customers and clients.
Trying to live the business owner’s freedom dream kinda thing.
And sharing what I’m up to, so other fine folks (like you!) can get ahead a bit quicker.

First off… I’m a real person. (If you like photos, here’s one of me in all my middle-aged glory).
I usually have my attention on my business during the day, but I kinda like stepping away from it all… to hang out with my wife, 3 kids and manic cat.
I live in a small town in rural New Zealand. So no need to ask “why does he sound funny?” when you watch one of my YouTube videos.
I started off with copywriting. Turned my attention to email marketing. Now I enjoy helping other solo business owners and copywriters get ahead quicker using email.
I blab about myself from time-to-time in my emails, so I’m sure you’ll satisfy your curiosity there as well! 😉
Speaking of which… this is the end of the (*cough*) formal introductions to what’s going on in my world. So it’ll be the regular daily emails from here on in.
