Daily Email Bravado

Sometimes I just get uber-excited.

No… NOT about paying for a ride in some stranger’s car!

German slang über. Got it?

Well… fancy that: I am SO excited about THIS email I managed to self-derail it in the second sentence!

Soooo…

Getting back on track…

I did a double-take when I saw a job advert on Upwork:

“Looking for an expert to write daily emails”.

DAILY emails!?

Can’t be!

NO ONE on Upwork EVER asks for that!

Although they should.

Do these poor people know how much they’re depriving their customers. How much they’re starving their business? How much they’re missing out on the pure ecstasy—

Ahem… (daily-email fanboy mini-rave over)

But how cool is it to see that in an Upwork job advert?

Yay… people DO want me!

Well I do write more than just daily emails. But — in case you haven’t noticed — daily email kinda excites me.

It’s fun… and it’s got so much potential to elevate customer relationships for my clients.

So…

I pulled myself together and penned a proposal

In it I said:

I’m not going to puff myself up about how awesome a daily email copywriter I am.

I simply suggest you click through to view this archive of the daily emails I’ve sent recently:

Smooth, no? 😎

It’s kinda cool having written daily emails for 54 straight days.

Buuut… maybe my bravado is a bit premature.

Although it motivates me to write to prospects — especially ones like this.

So… surely… a good thing?

And:

How awesome is it to be able to include a link to my entire email archive in the proposal?

No… I’m not expecting them to read every one. But it’s evidence that I’ve written a fair few.

Hey… it’s kinda like a portfolio.

And a great place for any freelancer to go to while their rainy afternoons away.

Yes. I jest.

But don’t let me stand in your way if you want to do some “whiling”.

P.S. I’m fast settling into the idea of Sundays being a “questions from the mailbag” type email.

So if you have questions about freelancing. Or anything I’m writing about in these daily (did I say DAAAAIIILLYY?) emails… drop me a line.
