How many introverts are there in the world?
Is it 16%? Is it 49%?
Or another one of the gazillion options my searches turned up?
So much for trying to get a straight answer from the internet. 😕
Also doesn’t help having different ways to categorize an “introvert.”
But no matter which is right, there’s still a billion or more of us on the planet.
And that means there’s going to be a fair few of us introverts writing emails too!
Which gets to the point of why I was even looking up this stuff in the first place.
I know enough introverts to know… putting yourself out in front of a crowd is not usually a happy place.
And even the thought of doing it virtually, by showing up in front of an email audience, can still send the mercury shooting up the anxiety thermometer.
Good that there’s strategies to help when we have to do the uncomfortable stuff.
And being our own bosses means we can work to our own energy levels.
So we’re not having to awkwardly pretend we’re that high-energy, “YEAH-YEAH-YEAH!” person.
There’s those of us, despite the challenges, who are determined to step out in front of our own email audience.
Event though as an introvert, I’ve hit my share of roadblocks along the way.
I’ve also found a way over, around, or through them.
There’s nothing us introverts can’t do!
