Now… before anyone worries about actually increasing the hair follicle density on any part of their body…
That was a METAPHOR! 😆
As in…
It’s something good for you that will make you strong.
Hmm 🤔 …
Kinda killed the effect of my metaphor by explaining it, didn’t I?
Oh well… might be a lesson there not to pick metaphors for your email that you feel the need to explain.
I guess I could have left the explanation out.
But here we are.
And now I’m about to explain WHY I think it’ll (METAPHORICALLY) put hair on small business owner’s chests who do it.
Daily email is worth considering because…
- You can make sales every day. (Who’da thunk it?)
- It’s easier to get your head around simpler daily emails, than a larger weekly newsletter. And avoid the temptation to cram everything in… because you’ve only got one shot a week to make sales.
- The pressure to sell a particular thing is lowered. You can just tell a story and sell whatever naturally fits in for that day.
- It makes you a better writer. Clearer, more persuasive, more human. Simply because you’re exercising your writing muscles more.
- You demonstrate authority as an expert. As you turn up every day with something to say about the thing you do.
- Keeping in touch with customers is an every day thing. So you can keep your finger on pulse of what they need.
- It’s fun!
And… it’s doable for most people.
Learn a few skills. Put them into practice. No worries!
I find writing my daily email one of the most relaxing parts of my day.
I can kinda go with the flow. Have a bit of fun. And when I’ve done it…
If that’s the ONLY thing I’ve done in my day… it’s OK. Because I’ve earned my keep 😇
