It’s tempting to go crazy when there’s a super-cool bundle of free products on offer.
FOMO starts tugging at me. And I want to grab everything I can, “just in case I need it.”
Well, after the dopamine buzz wears off, I’m left with my headspace cluttered from juggling a million logins and PDF files and whatnot.
So it’s perhaps a little ironic I’m talking about this today. Seeing that I take part in bundles. And encourage you to check them out.
But there’s ways to avoid the overload.
So they don’t become a total distraction from where you know your energy should be going.
I found a strategy that works for me. And it could be helpful if you’re wanting to navigate bundles without overwhelm. While still being able to extract exceptional value from them.
Here’s what I do…
When I come across a bundle that captures my attention, I give myself half an hour.
I use that time to look through what’s being offered. With an eye on things I need help with NOW.
And will sign up for a maximum of 3 products.
Then I’ll quickly check them out. So, within a couple of minutes I can decide if I want to keep going with them or not.
Sometimes there’s a good match for what I need. Other times not.
If it is a good match, then I’ll plan to look at them in depth another day. At a more convenient time.
This enforced time limit holds me back from diving into product after product for hours on end. And then fooling myself that I was busy doing productive work.
