One statistic that should make every email marketer question how often they email

This statistic alone should halt every email marketer in their tracks…

And rethink whether daily email ISN’T such a bad idea after all.

According to the researchers at Hubspot…

99% of email users check their inbox every single day.

Now, the usual “logic” with email marketing is…

“Don’t send too much email… you don’t want to annoy them.”

And it’s fair enough if you’ve promised that they’ll only get one email a week from you…

Because turning on the email firehose is probably going to make them feel like they’re drowning.

And they might start slamming the spam button… to make it all stop.

But the thing is…

There’s no rule that says you have to email only once a week (or twice, or whatever).

You just have to be clear with your subscribers about what they’re signing up for.

If you’re writing a daily email…

So long as you tell people signing up for your list how often they’ll hear from you…

Then you’re giving them what they signed up for by emailing them daily.

If people don’t like the rules… they don’t need to sign up to your list in the first place.

(Ooo… that statement that might set off scarcity-mindset eye-ticks for some marketers.)

But… think for a moment of a world where the following is possible…

99% of people are checking their email every day. That includes your subscribers.

What is it going to tell them if they see you in their inbox… day in… day out?

Because you have something to say every day about your chosen area… it helps position you as an expert. As an authority. As a leader.

Just from the simple act of showing up every day with something valuable for your audience.

Perhaps the value is from entertainment. Gathered information. Insights.

And because they CHOSE to get your email…

Won’t they feel… happy?

You can think of yourself as the daily talk show host they look forward to tuning in to hear.

They want to hear from you because you offer help for the problems they need help with.

Through value in the emails. That includes the products and services you offer.

And they’ll miss you if you show up late. Or skip a day.

It’s why the OG daily emailers have been doing it for decades.

Because daily email builds strong relationships with their subscribers.

Which in turn builds a strong business.

Even while they’re making sales every time they click “Send” …

They’re still ridiculed by those following “industry best practices.”

I don’t know about you, but…

I choose daily email.

Because I love serving an audience who looks foward to hearing from me…

And sharing things in my emails that can help them get ahead with their own business.
