Alicia was SHOCKED when — out of the blue — a couple of strangers who overheard her reading aloud said…
“We really like to listen to you read. You do it so well.”
So began a LOOONG string of compliments over the years.
It wasn’t uncommon for people to come up to her and say:
“You have a great reading voice.”
Although, in her latest email, she shared how she didn’t get it. Because she thought her voice was…
“All low and yucky. 😝”
NOT… A… CHANCE, my friend!
Even though she’s a published author. And the written word is her “thing”…
She gradually discovered that people heard something AMAZING in her “professional voice.” (Me too!)
When she picks up a book, or some other content to read aloud… that’s when the magic happens.
Now she’s got her eyes set on narrating her own books.
And I’ll be surprised if, soon, there won’t be other authors lining up around the block for their turn!
So, when I sent her a cheeky message to ask if she’d help me with some vocal content. And to please make me happy by saying…
“Hell yeah! This is what I’ve been waiting for all my life” …
You can bet I was on cloud nine when she gave me the thumbs up!
