Why be afraid of unsubscribes?

I’ll answer this question straight up:

I consider unsubscribes as NOTHING to be afraid of.

More than that…

Unsubscribes are something to be WELCOMED!

Here’s the thing…

From time-to-time I encourage my subscribers to be no stranger to the unsubscribe link…

Because if my emails aren’t part of helping them move their business forward… then the time they’re taking reading my emails could be creating uneccesary drag.

In that case… unsubscribing can makes sense for them.

I don’t mind…

Because I’m helping them whether they stay on my list. Or not.

And I kinda like helping people. 😇

My list is for people wanting to take action in their business by building their own email list.

And they want the value I offer, through my daily emails, to help them do this.

At present I’m growing my email list using collaborations like bundles.

When doing it this way, you definitely can’t be needy when it comes to people NOT clicking “unsubscribe.”

Because there’ll always be those folks who dip in to get the free offer. And then unsubscribe straight away.

Heck, I used to behave like that.

Little good it did me. Because…

Freebie hoarding doth not a business make!

I do hope that people who grab the paid products they get for free in a bundle (whether mine or other bundle contributors’) do use them to make a REAL difference in their own lives.

But I don’t worry if someone unsubscribes straight away.

Because it’s simply a signal they’re not the right person to be in my business world.

People will stay if they gel with me. If they stay, I enjoy building a relationship with them over time.

But if I don’t offer what they want, they’ll leave.

There’s no amount of begging or arm twisting that I can do (or want to!) to make people stay.
